Topline Double Glazing Unit (DGU) or Insulating Glass Unit is the assembly of two pieces of glass, which are firmly adhered together with a desiccant (drying agent)-filled aluminum spacer bar, and sealed permanently along its perimeter with secondary silicone sealant.
Standard Certified – MS2666

Characteristics
The enclosed compartment of dry air between the two glass panes in the double glazing unit provides significantly better insulating capability. The load on air conditioning is greatly reduced, resulting in significant energy savings. The use of reflective glass further reduces the load on the cooling system, helping to create a pleasant and comfortable working environment.
Prevention Of Dew Condensation
Condensation of dew will occur if single-glazed glass is installed with a large temperature difference between the hot exterior and cool interior. However, an insulating glass unit eliminates dew formation.
Sound Reduction
Topline Double Glazing Unit also provides sound damping ability. It reduces external ambient noise transmission.
Building Enhancement
It enhances the beautiful outlook of a building, allowing design flexibility with combinations of varying types of glass to suit requirements. The use of decorative Georgian bar profiles in DGUs for windows and doors adds beauty and style to the building.

Application For Topline Double Glazing Glass
- Office buildings, fashionable buildings, hospitals, and hotels with exceptionally high heating and cooling requirements.
- Petrol kiosks, private houses.
- Buildings and rooms that require strict temperature and humidity control, such as computer rooms, laboratories, and storage chambers.
- Airport control towers, racing circuit viewing galleries, and buildings along roads and railways for noise reduction.
- Refrigerator doors to prevent condensation.
- Meeting rooms.

Double Glazing Storage
Keep the Double Glazing Unit indoors in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight when storing on-site. Always store indoors, as shown in the diagram below, when storing for an extended period.
